Accreditations and Memberships

Health Administration Program

The department’s graduate program in Health Administration is accredited by the Commission on the Accreditation of Healthcare Management Education (CAHME). Accreditation is a voluntary process, and represents a partnership that demonstrates commitment to continuously improve graduate education. Our current accreditation runs through Spring 2030.

Our MHA program was established in 1995, and since 1998 over 300 students have graduated from the program.

The MHA program is also a full graduate member of the Association of University Programs in Health Administration (AUPHA).

MPH Concentration

The department’s MPH concentration in health policy is accredited by the Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH). The current accreditation runs until July 2029.

The Department of Health Management and Policy, through its Academy for Population Health Innovation, is a proud agency member of the American Public Health Association.
