ASSISTANT PROFESSOR OF HEALTH MANAGEMENT AND POLICY (2)
The UNC Charlotte Department of Health Management and Policy invites applicants for two nine-month tenure track Assistant Professor positions with a proposed start date of 8/15/2026.
Candidates must have a doctoral degree in health administration, health care management, health policy, or a related field by August 2026. Candidates are expected to present evidence of promise for contributing to the Department’s research portfolio, obtaining external research funding, and teaching. The extent to which the candidate can contribute to the department’s vision and mission will be considered.
Applicants whose research agendas focus on healthcare policy analysis, the development, application, or evaluation of health informatics systems, organizational theory in healthcare management and administration, the structural and/or behavioral dynamics of health organizations, or healthcare operations and service delivery are strongly encouraged to apply.
Preferred candidates will have an MHA, or equivalent, and teaching experience related to health administration/health policy, including but not limited to healthcare management, human resources, information systems, quality improvement, health law and policy, statistics/decision analysis, and operations management and/or can demonstrate effective teaching of students from socially and historically marginalized populations.
