Biography:
Erica is from Siler City, North Carolina, and is currently pursuing a Master of Health Administration at UNC Charlotte. She chose UNC Charlotte to strengthen her leadership skills and gain a deeper understanding of how the healthcare system operates. One of her favorite aspects of the program has been being part of Charlotte’s healthcare community, which has provided numerous opportunities to learn beyond the classroom. Through these experiences, she has been fortunate to connect with exceptional mentors who have supported her personal and professional growth.
As she continues her career, Erica hopes to focus on public health, community outreach, and improving access to care. She is especially passionate about making healthcare more accessible for underserved communities, recognizing that the availability of services alone is not enough if individuals are unable to access and utilize them. She aspires to work in roles that allow her to build strong community relationships and develop programs that improve health outcomes for the populations she serves.
