Department of Public Health Sciences: From the Beginning

2024… On July 1 the Department of Health Management and Policy (HMP) and the Department of Epidemiology and Community Health are formed from Public health Sciences.  HMP initially houses the BS-HSMT and MHA programs and the MPH concentration in Health Policy
2024… On February 1 the College of Health and Human Services announces its acceptance as a candidate to become a CEPH-accredited the School of Public Health, transitioning from an accredited Public Health Program. The College announces a number of
strategic initiatives related to this effort.
2019…BS in Health Systems Management has first graduates at the May 2019 Commencement ceremony …PhD in Public Health Sciences has first graduates at the May 2019 Commencement ceremony …significant revisions to BSPH curriculum …significant revisions to Public Health minor curriculum
