Biography:

Allison Grant grew up in Pittsboro North Carolina. She graduated from Appalachian State in 2021 with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and a minor in Psychology. During the past year, Allison worked in a physical therapy clinic where she was able to see firsthand how the management side of healthcare is crucial in the delivery of clinical care. The required internship after the first year was an important factor in deciding on UNC Charlotte’s MHA program as it will allow for valuable networking opportunities. She is excited for the variety of job opportunities after graduation but would possibly like to work with a nonprofit organization.
