Biography:
Nina Beech, a North Carolina native, completed her undergraduate degree at UNC Charlotte, earning her Bachelor of Science in Public Health. After graduating, Nina successfully wrote a grant for funding to implement evidence-based programming aimed at improving maternal and child health at the local level. Nina currently serves as the ICO4MCH program manager for the Sandhills Collaborative, a multi-county team comprised of professionals and community members in Scotland, Hoke, Richmond, and Montgomery counties using a collective impact framework and equity lens to address maternal and child health issues. She has worked in this role since 2015. Nina has completed the NC Public Health Associations’ Emerging Leaders program and serves as a member-at-large for the association’s executive committee. Nina plans to build upon her public health background through the completion of the Master of Health Administration program, aiming to one day be an executive-level leader in a hospital system.
Nina enjoys spending time with her son, reading, and collecting indoor houseplants.
