PHS Hosts Graduate Programs Open House

The Department of Public Health Sciences recently hosted a Graduate Programs Open House in the third floor atrium of the College of Health and Human Services. This event was a fantastic opportunity for prospective students to meet and have their questions answered by department faculty, current students, and representatives from the Graduate School. Discussion topics included program requirements and curriculum, ways in which the programs prepare students for careers in public health or health administration, characteristics of competitive applicants, and the application process. Prospective students attending the event included individuals working in healthcare, individuals working outside of healthcare, and students completing undergraduate programs.
