LISTEN: APHI Director Discusses Access to Public Health Services in Charlotte

Dr.Michael Dulin stopped by to speak with syndicated radio host Francene Marie about innovative public health conversations going on in Charlotte. Dr. Dulin is the Director for the Academy of Population Health Innovation (APHI) and a Professor of Public Health Sciences at UNC Charlotte.

Over the past year the group has collected data from focus groups, key informant interviews, health care organizations, a policy assessment and a clinical assessment. As APHI wraps up data collection, they are planning three community conversations. These events provide an opportunity for community members to verify main findings and prioritize our recommendations for the funders. The outcomes of the events will inform the final report which will be presented late October, 2017.
