Biography:
Jackson is from Mooresville, North Carolina. He completed his undergraduate degree at Appalachian State University, earning his Bachelor of Science in Public Health. After graduation, he completed an administrative internship with Atrium Health Cabarrus. He is now currently working with Atrium Health Cabarrus as a part of their Business Operations team. He picked UNC Charlotte’s MHA program because his preceptor highly recommended it and believes it will be an excellent opportunity for him to expand his knowledge of healthcare. Obtaining an MHA degree will help him achieve his career goals of becoming a leader in an acute care hospital where he will strive to improve population health, address health disparities in marginalized groups, influence workplace culture, and contribute to increased economic mobility and equity in the workforce.
