Emily is from Laurinburg, North Carolina. She earned her undergraduate degree in English with a focus on Journalism and Technical Writing from UNC Charlotte and chose to return for her MHA because she loved the city and was eager to explore the professional opportunities available in the area. Emily is passionate about health education, promoting health equity, and supporting workforce development. She hopes to build a career in medical education, helping to train and empower future healthcare professionals. Through the MHA program, she aims to strengthen her leadership and management skills to make a lasting impact on healthcare organizations and the communities they serve.
