Lisa was born and raised in Charlotte, North Carolina. She returned to UNC Charlotte to pursue the highly distinguished MHA program due to the wealth of knowledge, experiences, and opportunities it has to offer. As a registered nurse, she intends to advance her career using her clinical knowledge to transform the healthcare system and bridge inequality gaps.
