Ma’liyah Martin is from Williamson, West Virginia. She chose the University of North Carolina at Charlotte’s Master of Health Administration (MHA) program because it aligns with her passion for healthcare, leadership, and improving the systems that support patient care. After earning her Bachelor of Science in Health Services Management from North Carolina A&T State University, she decided to further develop her skills in healthcare operations, leadership, quality improvement, and organizational management through advanced graduate study.
