Sonya is from Brandon, Mississippi. She chose to pursue her Master of Health Administration at UNC Charlotte because of the program’s strong reputation and the vibrant, welcoming city it’s located in. Sonya is passionate about improving healthcare operations and workplace culture. Her career goals include enhancing the training and onboarding processes for hospitals and medical practices, as well as developing policies that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion. Through these initiatives, she hopes to foster more effective, supportive, and inclusive environments for both healthcare professionals and the communities they serve.
